In Savignano sul Rubicone Forza Italia asks the Democratic Party and the left-wing council to clarify the waste costs borne by the Municipality and the reduction of tariffs for citizens. Giovanni Rodero, head of Forza Italia in Savignano sul Rubicone, says: “Savignano has been practicing comprehensive door-to-door separate waste collection since 2017 and citizens have been made to pay the punctual rate from 1 January 2023. A rate which, according to the majority, would have translated into savings economic for citizens. Today, again from home Pd, an intervention is requested to induce managers to review the methods of calculating the costs that the municipalities bear for the service. So we spend more today that the collection has been improved cost reduction for citizens and businesses does not appear to have occurred”. And still on costs, Giovanni Rodero adds: “The need to protect the environment remains without a shadow of a doubt important and to be pursued but attention to service costs and the consequent tariffs applied must be able to mitigate the impact on families, businesses and on citizens in general. Also in consideration of the commitment to differentiate well and improve the quality of the collections themselves with the aim of reaching 79% by 2027”.
