The dates and locations of the interesting literary festival “Margine di Resistenza” which will take place in various places in Ferrara in the second half of May are being defined or rather finalised.
A somewhat unique festival which, according to the organisers, “will have the aim of promoting the thought, culture and political action of the Italian left”.
A demanding objective that the l’Approdo Foundation, which supports the event, and the Consorzio Eventi Editoriali, its organiser, will try to pursue not in institutional places, but in the neighbourhoods, clubs and meeting spaces that Ferrara offers.
The planned meetings will be 5 concentrated in fifteen days in May and some of these have already been scheduled, the last ones are being defined and confirmed.
The books that will be presented will be the starting point for an in-depth study on topics such as the teachings and memory of the past, social, human, civil and environmental rights, participatory and participatory democracy and welfare.
Some of the places identified are now becoming icons of widespread culture, such as the Circolo Acli in Pontelagoscuro which will host two events on 16 and 30 May.
Guests will include, among others, Alessandro Bratti, former deputy of the PD and currently General Secretary of the Po River District Authority, Ugo Sposetti, several times senator, former treasurer of the DS and currently president of the Enrico Berlinguer Association.
Another iconic place for meetings will be the headquarters of the L’Approdo Foundation, in Piazzetta Righi in Ferrara, where among others Stefano Fassina will be there to present his book “The profession of the left”.
In the same room we will talk with the director of fanpage.it Francesco Cancellato about his book “In the black continent, an investigation into the extreme right in European countries”.
Another 3 extremely interesting appointments are being defined, but they will be communicated as soon as possible together with the precise program with days, times and places.
