“We cannot lose our trust, our identity, we must not be afraid. This was a challenge to face so, at the beginning we were a little too overwhelmed, we changed trying to go and get them. Managing their attacking midfielders is complicated. The match was balanced, we lost 2-3 balls out, they brought pressure from the front, and this penalized us. Lazio created a danger on the first lost ball, as did the second. The team was intimidated. These mistakes make us grow, we will not repeat them in the future. I liked the team, the son, it would be a mistake to be conservative. It’s clear that we have the goal problem, but with this attitude we find it.”
“We had seen it, we cannot concede these outgoing balls, Lazio have so much quality in finishing, they have everything to get the ball to the back. They punished us on the third turnover. We also had some good opportunities, but we have to score goals. We have to think about that, it will take us where we want to go.”
“Lazio really has a lot of quality. We changed the way we played, also taking away a bit of initiative from them. I would have liked not to commit these small carelessness which then penalized us.”
