Cinigiano (Grosseto). The candidate for mayor of the municipality of Cinigiano in the next local elections, Giovanni Lanzini, had already promised it in the first declarations of intent and now, after careful consultations and careful evaluations, he is ready to let everyone know who will become part of his civic list “Fare Cinigiano”.
“A list made up of women and men, all living in the municipal area and coming mainly from the entrepreneurial agricultural world, substantial for a significant change of pace for the municipality, but also from the world of culture, university, the third sector and the associationism – explains Lanzini –. Among them there are also young people born to families coming from both EU and non-EU countries, demonstrating that the change of pace desired by the list closely concerns a new way of living, conceiving and governing the territory in the true sense of civility and cultural integration, as well as young people who have made the Cinigiano area their life choice. A young group, the average age of the members of the list is less than 40 years old, dynamic and prepared, but above all in love with their territory and who can’t wait to do something concrete for their people. Citizenship is a serious and important thing, it is based on the desire to manage a small municipality well which needs to have the right and motivated people in the right place”.

- Clarissa Pieraccini, 24 years old agricultural tourist entrepreneur;
- Daniele Puggioni, 48 years old, entrepreneur;
- Angela Salusti, 65 years old, agricultural expert;
- Arianna Sani, 28 years old, employee.
“The clarity of ideas of the ‘Fare Cinigiano’ list can already be seen starting from the logo: a handshake over the green hills. A simple but extremely significant symbol: the handshake is still more than a simple greeting today. It is a pact between people, as befits a truly civic list, and with the territory in the continuation of an ancient alliance between our people and our land which must never fail. This symbol also contains all the motivations that inspire the mandate program: a pact of trust and concreteness with a concrete and achievable program which will not be the usual ‘dream book’, but which will contain ‘ten things to do immediately’ – they announce Lanzini and his team –. The main points of the program will in fact concern welfare, health, safety, economy, work, environment, energy, culture, tourism and volunteering and will soon be made available in detail and expressed in language clear and concrete without the usual turns of phrase of the classic ‘electoral politics’.
