A message that went viral in a few minutes reveals the background of the newly formed alliance between Action and Massimo Zedda in Cagliari, in view of the local elections on 8 and 9 June, and unleashes chaos in Campo Largo, already affected by internal feuds for the conquest of presidency of the council commissions. And, with the background, the message also reveals the objective: to reduce and even eliminate the 5 stars from the coalition, at the moment lords and masters of the coalition, with the silent PD and the other parties, the so-called small ones, crushed by the excessive power of Grillino .
So everything was planned between Action and Zedda. The walk on 25 April with representatives of Action and the Progressives side by side throughout the journey, in particular Sebastiano Tola and Luciano Uras, the press releases sent every few minutes, the surprise effect towards the allies and in particular the 5 stars, towards whom a real act of rebellion was carried out. The Grillini had in fact vetoed the entry into Campo Largo of anyone who had not supported Todde in the regional elections, and above all that veto was valid for those who had supported Renato Soru, such as Azione. But Zedda has always said she wants to dialogue to broaden the coalition. And, after having in turn supported Soru and having passed at the last useful minute with Campo Largo, he decided to do as he deems most useful, without worrying about Grillini’s diktats.
A move which, naturally, is creating further problems in an already high-tension situation in Campo Largo due to conflicts over the division of the presidency of the council commissions.
There will be a coalition summit on Monday, until then the 5 Stars have imposed silence on themselves even if strong discontent and the intention to put Zedda faced with a choice is evident: 5 Stars or the others.
On the Action front, meanwhile, the waters are very agitated, and there is a hunt for the traitor, i.e. the person who spread the message, complete with a complaint – announced – to the postal police. The national leader Calenda and regional leader Cucca remained silent, presumably aware of the entire operation agreed with the Progressives.
