Sold out, or almost, for the May Day long weekend in the city. Visitors continue to arrive in Bergamo in large numbers – as happens in the most well-known destinations – regardless of the weather forecast. Hotels and restaurants close an excellent week, thanks to April 25th which brought tens of thousands of people to the city. Great work for the Orio al Serio airport, but tourists also reached Bergamo by train, car and camper.

Despite the weather not being great, in recent days we have welcomed many visitors from Italy, but also many foreign tourists with a single common denominator: experiencing our territory as protagonists and tasting the typical products of our food and wine tradition.” Guests demonstrate that they like Orobic cuisine, also looking for typical restaurants in Lower Bergamo, as confirmed Darwin Foglieni of the restaurant Ol Giopì and Margì: «In recent days they have joined local customers many touristseager to taste recipes and typical products of our land.”
