MODENA. Significant points could have come to secure safety with three days to go, and to perhaps indulge in a few more dreams in the last 270 minutes of the season: this was not the case.

In fact, Südtirol fell 1-0, away at Modena of the former Pierpaolo Bisoli, at 35th matchday of Serie B: the goal of another former player, the defender, condemned the red and whites to defeat at the Braglia stadium Mattia Zarowhich in the 22nd minute of the second half scores with a header following a corner kick kicked by Battistellabreaking the balance of a race that had been fairly balanced up to that point.

The match heats up right from the start and it’s the hosts who come to the fore shortly thereafter 3′from the parts of Poluzzi with a verticalization for Palumbo who goes to the conclusion but fails to find the target.

To the 13‘ and the Südtirol to become dangerous instead: Tait feed at the height of the right vertex of the home area Molina who needs a precise assist for the volley of Casiraghi which is instinctively rejected by Gagno.

The protagonist in the half hour is once again the Canaries’ goalkeeper who flies to neutralize one free kick from the edge, angled and precise, by Casiraghiwhile the last thrill of the first half is yellow-blue, with Magnino who narrowly missed intercepting a tense cross from the area Battistella.

The first half of the game ends at white nets and the second half offers few emotions until a header from Marco breaks the balance Zaro who, taking advantage of a cross from the flag of Battistellaheads the ball past Poluzzzi.

To the 40′ And Molina to try to put the race back in balance with one conclusion from the midfield left which however goes just over the crossbar.

Despite the final efforts, the final red and white assault turns out to be in vain, with the boys of mister Federico Valente which therefore remain stationary at altitude 43 points in the standings – on par with the Emilians – six plus on the playout zone and minus three on the playoff zone.
