The splendid concert by the Voz Latina ensemble closed the second day of the Vecchio Ospedale Festival, the cultural and musical event promoted by the Latin American Association of Cremona to enhance a space very important historical city.
The event opened on April 26, with the inauguration and vernissage for the opening of the “Confini” collective exhibition, curated by the artistic collective “La Magnolia”. Many people participated, willingly stopping to listen to the concert of the Sebastian Volco Trio, at Casa Elisa Maria.
Excellent participation also for the second day, during which painting workshops, guided tours and theatrical performances were held in the children’s workshop curated by Massimiliano Pegorini.
Grand finale of the day, therefore, with the concert entitled “Canzoniere Moderno”, during which the Voz Latina ensemble took the audience by the hand, accompanying them on a real journey into Latin American song. There were also many participants at the party in the courtyard of the Alac headquarters, accompanied by the music of Ariabuena.
The event therefore ends on Sunday 28 April, during which the information stands of some local associations will be present at the Apac headquarters. At 11, again in the Alac headquarters, there will be a presentation of the book “Atlantic Mediterranean: migrations and rebirths against the backdrop of the Argentine dictatorship”, by Carlos Corbellini.
In the afternoon, at 3.30 pm, again in via Gioconda, the volume “Cremona 1922-1945: stories of subversives” by Marcello Zani will be presented. In the same location, at 5pm you can attend the conference entitled “San Francesco: ancient places for future planning”, organized by the architect Angelo Garioni. The day will end with the final party, which will include dinner and live music with Roda Do Careca. All events are free, except the Target Turismo guided tours. lb
