The Psd’Az of Sassari (all sections except one, which refers to the dissident Piero Maieli) will support Gavino Mariotti’s run for the municipal elections. The circles of the Quattro mori Marianna Bussalai, Futuro e Indipendenza, Madrighe, Sport e Salute, Procurade e Moderare, Identidade, No potho reposare and Michele Columbu reported it in a note. “Who they identify”, so they write, referring to the rector of the Turritan university, leader of the centre-right coalition, «the candidate for mayor for the signing of the programmatic agreement that enhances Sardinian ideals and proposals”.
The objective in perspective is one: «Guaranteeing the city of Sassari an administration worthy of its cultural and political prestige and capable of giving back to our city, together with the roles and functions that traditionally belong to it, the hope of a vigorous economic recovery and adequate social growth”.
In this way Mariotti receives important support in view of the competition on 8 and 9 June to accompany that of the parties, from the Brothers of Italy to the Reformers, from the League to Forza Italia who, three weeks ago, have already acclaimed him as their standard-bearer.
