L’AQUILA – The event organized by the cultural association L’Aquila Young is back to discover the hidden treasures of the city of L’Aquila and its territory.
This time the guided tour for the ‘Underground Eagle’ format was organized inside the foundations of the ancient and evocative convent of Saint Clare of Aquili.
The appointment is for today, Saturday 27 April.
The duration of the guided tour – with first shift at 5pm and second shift at 6.30pm – varies in duration based on the number of participants. It is necessary to arrive 10 minutes before the indicated time, punctuality is recommended. Sportswear is recommended as the route is quite long.
Absolutely not recommended for those suffering from claustrophobia, heart disease or serious pathologies. Minors must be accompanied by at least one parent. The guided tour is not recommended for children under the age of 10/12. It is possible to take photos only if authorized by the guide.
The cost of the tour (12 euros for adults and free for children up to 12 years old) includes insurance.
The Underground Eagle is the format that takes visitors on an immersive journey into the bowels of the city and its surroundings to discover its history and mysteries, reliving the myths and legends still present in the collective imagination. The visit to the underground is not a conventional visit, but a truly immersive experience through secret passages, nevere, aqueducts and rooms, rediscovered by the restoration work of recent years.

Carla’s visits to discover the Aquila Noir
