Having passed all the steps of the scoreboard by knockout, starting from the round of 32 of the Final, the representative team, already a silver medalist in the 2023 edition, crossed cards at the decisive table of the Final with the Frenna – Bridge Bologna team, of Giuseppe Frenna, Morena Azzolini Frenna, Barbara Cesari, Monica Cuzzi, Furio Di Bello, Antonio Sementa and the Poles Anna Sarniak and Leszek Sztyrak.
The match, exciting and fought until the last hand, ended with the result 101-94 IMP.
Frenna – Bridge Bologna then won the silver medal. The bronze medal, however, was won in a tie by the opposing teams of Bonardo and Frenna in the Semifinal: the Cannavale – Palcan Bridge teams (Paola Cannavale, Caterina Burgio, Amedeo Comella, Arrigo Franchi, Luigina Gentili, Fabio Lo Presti, Matteo Montanari , Vanessa Torielli) and Piazza – Bridge Addaura ASD (Vincenza Piazza, Tiziana Basile Tuttobene, Francesca Carnicelli Failla, Ornella Colonna Ligambi, Giuseppe Failla, Luigi Ligambi, Perla Pedani, Stefano Sabbatini).
