To Anzionear Rome, a homeless was sprinkled with flammable liquid while he was sleeping on the street, he was then given to flames. The man’s life is not in danger, but he reported burns to the chest and legs. The police are investigating.

The burned man is a Indian Of 42 years old. The attack occurred near the Pavilion railway station where the homeless man had made a makeshift bed for himself.
According to the account given by the victim to the police, the events occurred between 9:00 and 10:00 on Friday 26 April. A group of people poured some on him flammable liquid and set it on fire, then fled.

Immediately after the fact, the man panicked took a train to move away from the scene of the attack. Then he came down to Villa Claudia and asked passers-by for help. The man was taken to the Sant’Eugenio hospital under code red.
Investigators are examining images of the video surveillance cameras to accurately reconstruct what happened and identify the culprits.

In November of 2019 to Chioggia (Venice) two boys set fire to a homeless man, while a third person filmed the scene with his cell phone. At the time of the events, two of the three were minors. The injured man did not suffer serious consequences.
In December of 2017 to Santa Maria di Zevio (Verona) two boys aged 13 and 17 set fire to a homeless man who was sleeping in a car. The 64 year old Moroccan named Ahamed Fdil he died charred. “It was a joke, we didn’t do it on purpose,” the two justified.
In April of 2015 to Palermo, near the central station, a 62-year-old homeless man was burned on his legs and arms after some thugs set fire to the mattress and blankets he had been camping with. These were only the most recent cases, among the many that have occurred.
