Turin Jazz Festival 2024 in Turin
The Turin Jazz Festival continues this weekend throughout Turin with great concerts, conferences, book presentations, film screenings, marching bands and much more.
Among the main events we remember:

- Saturday 27 Aprilat 11.30 am and 4 pm, at Casa Teatro Ragazzi e Giovani, he performs Sakina Abdou, French flutist and saxophonist; at 6pm, at zip code 10100, it’s your turn Down Bit Duke with Sci-fi homage to Duke Ellington; at 9pm, at the Monterosa Theater, Roberto Gatto pays homage to the music of Tony Williams;
- Sunday 28 Aprilat 6pm, in Sala 500, Lingotto, the duo Roscoe Mitchell / Michele Rabbia offers a concert in the name of improvisation and creativity; at 9pm, again at the Lingotto, at the Giovanni Agnelli Auditorium, concert by New Masada Quartet with John Zorncomposer, musician and producer, an institution of American music that from jazz to radical improvisation, from hardcore punk to doom metal, from klezmer to lounge, to contemporary classical, has given life to an impressive and controversial production, difficult to assimilate into academic categories .

Ayrton Senna Forever at MAUTO

The repertoire ranges from original arrangements of songs by Cedar Walton, Oscar Peterson and Bobby Timmons to standards performed by the most famous duos such as those of Bill Evans and Jim Hall, Fred Hersch and Julian Lage.
