Fiumicino, Fassino and the attempted theft at the duty free: a video is being examined Fiumicino, 26 April 2024 – The information on which the Polaria agents are working on the affair which occurred on 15 April which saw the complaint against Piero Fassino, involved in an alleged theft in the airport duty free shop of Fiumicino (read here). The agents have acquired a video from the video surveillance cameras and they have already listened to the security officers and employees of the business where the alleged theft of a package of perfume occurred. The information, in which theft is suspectedwill arrive in the next few days to the attention of the Civitavecchia prosecutor’s office who will evaluate the elements acquired and decide whether to carry out further investigations.
For the record, and for the protection of those under investigation, we would like to remind you that an accusation is not equivalent to a conviction, that the evidence is gathered in court and that the Italian judicial system still provides for three levels of judgement.
