Geologist, graduated from the University of Genoa. After working in companies in the mining and industrial sectors, he worked in marketing and technical communication. Freelance journalist, he has written for the press and graphic arts sector since 1990, first as editor of Rassegna Grafica, then director of Graphicus since 2002; in 2009 he founded MetaPrintArt, the first online magazine of graphic technique and culture, of which he is editor and director. He founded the Italian Association of Print and Paper Museums. In 2010 he was a professor of printing techniques at the Polytechnic of Turin. In 2020 he was selected as an executive member of the drupa expert panel. 2022 Golden Thumb of the graphics industry for professionalism. As a writer, in 1998 he published the novel “La Tunelo” in the Esperanto language (the Italian version will soon be published), which deals with a motorway tunnel which, for geological reasons, should not be built. In April 2020 he published the novel “The Secret of the Ten Lakes” set in the Andes, to discover the last descendant of the Inca emperors and the alphabet of knots for Di Marsico LIbri. In 2021 he published, with his colleague Stegat, a short collection of four hyper-deterministic stories “The Astral Knights”, with an interlude and afterword by a quantum physics teacher. In 2023 “Europe is a circle of stars” revisiting the ‘logbook’ of a hitchhiking trip in 1960 to discover the nascent European Community.
