Cerignola. The 2023 management report approved; investments in infrastructure, security and social policies; the PNRR runs
The Democratic Party of Cerignola expresses great satisfaction with the results obtained in the last City Council, starting from the 2023 management report which highlights a healthy budget and a virtuous municipal administration.
“We are proud of the work carried out in recent years – declares the secretary of the PD Cerignola, Daniele Dalessandro – which has led to concrete results for our city. The decrease in the deficit by as much as 6 million euros compared to 2020 demonstrates the seriousness and commitment with which the administration has managed public resources. Not only that, thanks to careful management, we have managed to contain the taxes paid by citizens, with a reduction in the TARI for frail and elderly families and with one of the lowest municipal surcharges in Italy.”
The 2023 financial statement does not limit itself to photographing a solid financial situation, but also looks to the future with optimism. In fact, 19 million euros have been allocated for new expenses which will translate into services and investments for citizens. Among these, particular attention was given to social policies, with an increase in resources dedicated to supporting the weakest groups.
“The approval of the Annual Public Works Plan – continues Dalessandro – confirms the administration’s commitment to improving the quality of life of citizens. The redevelopment works of the municipal sports fields and the installation of new security cameras represent just some of the many interventions planned. Added to these are important investments for the PNRR, with projects amounting to over 41 million euros.”
