The Parma Flying Squad, in the context of a criminal proceeding for family abuse, executed an order issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations at the Court of Parma, with which the application of the coercive measure was ordered of house arrest with the application of an electronic bracelet against a 36-year-old man, resident in the province of Parma, author of serious mistreatment carried out against his partner, his minor daughter and his partner’s parents.
The man, already the recipient of the measure of the prohibition of approach with the application of the electronic bracelet, on 17 April last, at the end of the preliminary hearing of the case for mistreatment, left the courtroom and hid among the cars parked nearby of the court, awaiting the arrival of his ex-partner to whom he addressed threatening words.
Following this episode, the competent authority ordered the execution of the provision to aggravate the precautionary measure previously imposed. The suspect, identified by the operators of the second section of the Flying Squad, was subjected to house arrest.
