Bosnia Herzegovina, reflections and perspectives towards Europe” is the title of a multi-voice discussion promoted by the association Prijedor Projectscheduled forMay 8th in Trentoat 5 pm, at the Center for International Cooperation, in Vicolo San Marco.

They will participate in the meeting Ezio Pilatipresident of the Progetto Prijedor association, Luisa Chiodidirector of the Balkans and Caucasus Transeuropa Observatory, Jens Woelkprofessor of international law at the University of Trento e Mark Abram, expert in Balkan history. In the 1990s, during the Bosnian war, which together with others led to the dissolution of Yugoslavia, an estimated 100 thousand people died. The Dayton Agreement of 1995, which put an end to the conflict, “photographed” the ethnic division on the ground. Bosnia and Herzegovina was in fact made up of the Repubblica Srpska (with a Serb majority) and the Croatian Muslim Federation. On 21 March the European Council approved the start of negotiations for the accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Union.
