Fortunately, the fear is behind us, the news that everyone was waiting for has arrived: Honey is out of danger. The dog found dying in a waste bin in the Cruillas neighborhood of Palermo last Monday is making a clear recovery. He responded well to the care of the vets to whom he was entrusted by a volunteer and can even stand. The latest update from Valeria Galletti almost speaks of a miracle, given that the little dog had arrived at the clinic in desperate conditions, with holes on his head.

“The dog will be checked by an orthopedist”

As the doctors ascertained, he had been hit with a pickaxe: someone would have struck two clear blows, then closed him in a bag and abandoned him. On the day he was found, among the garbage bags, he was bleeding, then he fell into a coma. Hopes were hanging by a thread, but the love and care that the dog received achieved the desired result. “More in-depth check-ups have been done – explains the volunteer – the little one has a fracture in his right hind limb and will be checked by an orthopedist”.
