The tremor was felt in nearby areas, from Marsala to Mazara del Vallobut also to Trapani and in other towns in the province. Also from the Egadi, among Favignana, Marettimo And Levanzo reports were received by the firefighters as the three islands were very close to the epicentre.
According to data provided by the INGV earthquake room in Rome, the earthquake was recorded around 8 in the morning. The magnitude 3.0 earthquake had epicenter at sea and hypocenter 19 km away. It was a single shock and, at the moment, there would have been no aftershocks or aftershocks.
