Castellammare di Stabia protagonist at the Myba Charter show in Genoa thanks to the Stabia Main Port. The facility, with decades of experience in mooring pleasure vessels up to 180 metres, participated in the international event with meetings and workshops with 570 registered brokers.
Experience, competence and professionalism were the winning elements that allowed the promotion of the port of Castellammare di Stabia within tourist itineraries, for luxury guests and numerous crews, among the cultural and landscape beauties of Stabia, Monte Faito, Gragnano , Capri, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast.
“We are close to ten years of activity and proud to have created an exclusive port, which is helping to implement luxury incoming between the two gulfs”, comments satisfied Giuseppe Di Salvo, president of the Stabia Main Port, the only tourist port in Campania for mooring giga yachts up to 180 metres. “Thanks to the advice of many captains, leading international agencies in the sector such as Luise Group and Bwa Yachting, charter brokers and with the active participation of our staff, important arrivals of mega and giga yachts with foreign flags, foreign customers in visit to Castellammare di Stabia, starting from the ancient center of the city”, continues Di Salvo.
Moreover, Stabia Main Port inaugurated the tourist season already in April with the yacht Roma and from next week there will be other arrivals of large ships, carrying hundreds of people, including guests and crew, with the anticipation of large events and visits drive.
“Naturally every year we invest in new services and the number of employed people grows – concludes Di Salvo – we inaugurated the spring with the stabilization of three young people from the area, trained during the winter to always guarantee maximum efficiency for luxury customers that comes from the sea. Staff that I would like to underline are checked, before hiring, for anti-mafia and anti-terrorism purposes according to international background check regulations”.
