As part of the intense and extraordinary control services of the territory, prepared by the Police Commissioner of the province of Ragusa, Dr. Vincenzo Trombadore, aimed at combating drug trafficking, the Agents of the Vittoria Police Station (RG) arrested in flagrante delicto , two brothers, for the crime of possession for the purpose of trafficking of a narcotic substance such as marijuana.
The facts were ascertained during a check carried out within the “Guzzardi” hospital in Vittoria; at the sight of the State Police operators, the two brothers adopted a shy and suspicious behavior aimed at evading possible control by the Agents.
However, this attitude did not go unnoticed by the two policemen, who carried out the necessary checks on the two subjects; a search was carried out during which two plastic bags were found and seized, each containing a narcotic substance such as marijuana for a total weight of almost 500 grams.
Once the formalities had been completed, the two brothers were associated at the Ragusa district house at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
