The Chinese competition, the first organized in the Asian continent, was gigantic and saw almost no participation 300 athletes Worldwide, 30 different countries.

Four disciplines: Fs (formation skydiving) Vfs (vertical formation skydiving), Dynamic Flight to two it’s at four and the Free Style.

Italy presented different formations in almost all disciplines: a team of Fs feminine and one masculine, two of Vfs (multiple teams can present in the World Cup) and one of Dynamic Flight to two.

The Vfs involves the four air acrobats performing tricks inside a wind tunnel, where the speed is close to 300 km per hour. The team enters by placing their feet on a net and as soon as the first player takes his feet off the net the time starts. The group has 35 seconds to carry out the sequences which were drawn at random by the judges before the competition.

You can perform the sequences several times without penalty at the end of the 10 round drawn, the more points you earn.

The one of Vfs at the helm of which is the sergeant major of Jesi is the absolute national team, i.e. the one that competes for the awarding of medals in the European and World discipline championships, also composed of the Umbrian Marco Soro, the Tuscan Stefano Fallagiani and the new entry Federico Allamprese from Emilia.

Andrea Cardinali and the other Italian athletes belong to theAreo Club of Italy (affiliated with Cones), but they belong to Parachute Brigade Thunderbolt of the Italian Army and serve in the sports activities department of Pisa.
