A tremor woke residents of the area from their sleep at 3.47 am Agnano, Bagnoli and gods Phlegraean Fields. The seismographs of the Vesuvian Observatory recorded, in fact, an earthquake of magnitude 2.4 with an epicenter in the Pisciarelli area at a depth of 2.3 kilometres.
The Naples room of the INGV announced that it is a shock that is part of a seismic swarm. On Thursday alone the seismographs detected around the Campi Flegrei 50 earthquake eventsmost of which were of very low magnitude with two earthquakes with a maximum magnitude of 1.4.
«We were woken up in our sleep, we are exhausted, we can’t take it anymore. Stress and fear are now our daily companions. Yesterday was a continuous series of small tremors and explosions”, the residents of the Agnano area wrote on social media.
