A deep and experienced squad, many players who have already experienced this moment of the season in their careers. There are 9 Torres players who have faced the Serie C playoffs in the past, namely: Idda, Fischnaller, Zambataro, Zecca, Liviero, Giorico, Lora, Zaccagno and Cester. The most experienced among these is the number 14 of the rossoblù who, in this phase of the tournament, has made 15 appearances for a total of 1261 minutes divided into 4 seasons. Who, however, during his career, has reached the playoffs several times Serie C was the South Tyrolean striker: six seasons in which he made 12 appearances and 2 goals in a total of 560 minutes played. Alfonso Greco’s Torres can boast among its ranks players who have played in the direct elimination phase also in B series. Among these there is Mastinu, with the number 21 of the Sassari team who achieved qualification in this phase in 4 seasons (in the 19/20 season he qualified with Spezia but did not take the field due to injury), playing six matches and scoring a goal in the lost final against Monza in 2021/22 (252 minutes played overall). What path did the rossoblù take during their experiences in the playoffs? The metronome of Torres’ midfield, Giorico, never got beyond the round of 16. A goal reached by the number 24 of the Sassari team wearing the team shirt Triestina in the 2021/22 season, with the red and whites having the worst of it against the Palermo.
