Saturday 27th at 5.30pm appointment with “Bari Sotto la Città”. A journey through the centuries, from the Roman imperial city to the Renaissance one, documented by the architectural and archaeological evidence that attests to the thousand-year history of Bari. Starting from the lost Byzantine walls, we will explore the outskirts of the ancient centre, with the Jewish and Armenian neighbourhoods. We will observe the archaeological sequence of the city, well preserved in the basement of the Cathedral of S. Sabino and the ruined church of Santa Maria del Buonconsiglio
