«It’s always nice to win but this year was really special, because of the way we did it, dominating while always playing football, and I assure you that it’s not easy in Serie C. The incredible thing is that in just a few days 24 people who they didn’t know each other, they created a solid and compact group as if they were among old friends. The type of game? Personally, it’s what suits me best: I love building from the bottom, always keeping the ball rolling and never throwing it away. Renate aside, with Vicenza and Lumezzane our reaction would have deserved a better fate. We are not giving anything away to anyone, these blackouts may have been caused by unconscious declines but we want to recover. There is a Super Cup to honour, I won it with Pordenone and it is a huge satisfaction as well as an important trophy on the board. I have another year on my contract and as long as my body allows me I would like to continue playing. It will be a difficult championship, with greater quality but also greater stimuli. Maybe we will need some additions but I believe that with our way of interpreting football we will also do well in Serie B»
