COSENZA – This afternoon in Cosenza on via Lungo Crati, near the former Hotel Jolly, which is now a fenced construction site, someone – still unidentified – emptied a bin full of oilwhich was located inside the construction site, finished along the entire road. At the moment the asphalt is very dangerous as the oil spilled near the road makes the road slippery.
The local police have arrived on site and are managing the traffic to prevent the cars, in transit on Via Lungo Crati, from do not risk skidding due to the slippery asphalt. Meanwhile, the cleaning company has been alerted to remove the oil from the road surface.
The construction site of the former Hotel Jolly is a real open-air landfill. Over time it has also become a meeting place for drug addicts. At certain times of the day, the area in front of the ruin an open defecation facility is used by people to carry out their physiological needs. The question everyone is asking is: what does the Caruso administration think of this area abandoned to itself?
