Even Azione, the party led by Carlo Calenda, will support the candidacy of Massimo Zedda as mayor of Cagliari.

This was communicated in a note signed by the provincial secretary Sebastiano Tolawhere we read: «The provincial board of directors in concert with the regional secretariat of Azione di Calenda communicate that having reached an agreement with Massimo Zedda to support his candidacy for mayor in the municipal elections of Cagliari”.

«Azione, – continues the press release – having verified the quality of the programmatic lines of the coalition and of the candidate in line with its objectives, will support Massimo Zedda with its own list, mainly composed of representatives – mostly young and with their first electoral experiences – of the world of professions, work and productive activities, who bring their experience available for the development and good governance project of the city proposed by Massimo Zedda and supported by the coalition».

One also arrived shortly note from the mayoral candidate of Campo Largo: «Today Cagliari celebrated the Liberation with a large demonstration of the people. We were all able to verify the desire for participation of thousands of citizens in support of our constitutional values of freedom, democracy and solidarity. A moment that involved all the democratic forces of the city. The long procession in which I participated today once again allowed me to appreciate the demand for unity. I am also working in these hours to go further and involve all democratic forces and movements, to strengthen the coalition and give the city a new future, of peace, work and civil and economic growth. In this sense, – says Zedda – I appreciate Action’s choice to support the coalition’s program and my candidacy for mayor of Cagliari, with its own list.”
