Fashion, glamor and innovation at the Italia Green Film Festival

A sensational event that saw sustainable fashion as the protagonist in the Italia Green Film Festival. An evening in which glamor and innovation went hand in hand with Made in Italy linked to green, the main theme of the Festival now in its fifth edition. Godmother of the evening, which took place at the Wegil in Trastevere, the singer Noemi who embraced the Green Festival and underlined the key themes linked to the Environment and sustainability. “This is an important initiative that links the Cinema and Fashion industry from a Green perspective – said Noemi – this evening I wanted to choose to sing Vuoto a Perdere, then to give strength to the theme of women, on awareness of acceptance that resonates like a cry of pride and revenge”. The Golden Leaf (the symbolic award of the Green Film Festival) is special for the singer.

But the event, the third after the one linked to Food and Cinema obviously, touched the Fashion sector in a new way. That of sustainability and the development of new productions with special attention to the environment. The commitment of stylists and fashion houses to Green should be underlined. Among these, Marilena Spiridigliozzi certainly stands out, stylist, artist, entrepreneur and trainer of high fashion tailoring who created the Mariel brand when she was very young and followed by five other lines from high fashion bridal to technical day lines for a modern and dynamic woman. Her excellence, all made in Italy and produced in Made in Lazio, is expressed in the hand-painted clothes with exclusive ecological colors and where femininity and love for nature is strongly expressed.

Then Lisa Tibaldi: Roman stylist and designer, with her brand since 1989 she has been present with numerous publications in the most prestigious magazines such as Vogue Sposa, Elle, Marie Claire; she was invited to close the Monte Carlo Fashion Fair, she dressed the orchestra and choir of the Sanremo Festival, she has collaborated for years with various film and television productions (Detto Fatto, Temptation Island, Men and Women). Furthermore, since 2018, the designer has created the eco-sustainable lines Lisa Tibaldi Terra Mia of Fashion Accessories – high quality costume jewelery with stramma leaves (local grass formerly used for basket making) and silk scarves inspired by the beauty of the Auruncan land – and Lisa Tibaldi Privernum Collection of Home design with 3D printed biodegradable corn resin vases inspired by the heritage of the city of Priverno (Lt). Since 2021, the designer has been President of CNA Federmoda Latina, as well as godmother of new Made in Italy fashion professional study courses at higher institutes in the province and teacher of professional fashion and tailoring courses. In February 2023 you founded the aps association of which you are President, for the sustainable, cultural and environmental valorization of the Aurunco ​​and southern Pontine territory. He is the only Master Craftsman of made-to-measure suits recognized by the Lazio Region and has several awards and recognitions, among the most recent: Aurunci Patres Cultural Award, Camilla Città di Priverno Award, Antonio Ambroselli International Hero Award, Latina Image Award.

And again, the Fashion in Blue capsule presented at the Italia Green Film Festival was created with waste from the sailing and fishing industry supply chain in the Gulf of Gaeta with the aim of enhancing a sustainable circular economy at 0 km.

The artistic director of the Festival Pierre Marchionne who has always believed in this project: “After five years we find ourselves here with the same emotion and the same passion that pushed us to believe in this Festival.
