It is more complex to make a point about supermarkets Carrefour. In Florence there are no hypermarkets of the chain, but only Carrefour Express, stores that self-manage as regards opening hours. Some examples. The supermarket in via Salutati will remain open on both April 25th and May 1st continuously from 8am to 9.30pm. The one in the center of Borgo degli Albizi from 9am to 8pm on both days of the holiday. The one in via Il Prato from 8am to 11.30pm for both April 25th and Labor Day. The trend for the chain is to always be open during these holidays, but for the opening hours the reference store should be considered.

For May 1st: via Burchiello, via Palazzo dei Diavoli and via Balducci will remain open from 8.30am to 1.30pm. Via Erbosa will instead have two shifts: 8.30am-1pm and 3.30pm-8pm. Via Lanzi and via dell’Arginterno will be open in the morning at the same times but will be open for an extra half hour in the afternoon, closing at 8pm.
