PADUA – The s. returns to the citysecond edition of the “You & ME” touran event dedicated to the discovery of training programs promoted by LVMH Group, the French multinational that includes the big fashion brands, from Louis Vuitton to Bulgari, passing through Moet&Chandon. The event landed yesterday at the San Gaetano cultural center with the aim of allowing high school students and those seeking professional retraining to learn about the over 280 excellent professions belonging to the Group.

THE IDEA
The tour, born in 2022, allows you to discover the training programs proposed by the LVMH ME Institute and the job opportunities within the maisons part of the Group, in the professions of creation, craftsmanship and customer experience, that is, the way where a company interacts with its customers at every stage of the purchasing process. A tour that extends across three Italian cities inaugurated in Florence, with Padua as the second stop and Naples as the final destination. The event aims to encourage the inclusion of young talents who want to express their creativity and learn a profession with passion. «The orientation and recruitment hall in excellent professions offers the opportunity, in this event open to the public and especially to young people, to discover the professions of our group, the job offers and the free training offers that we have today on Italian territory – explained the person responsible for the transmission of excellent professions, Pauline Gandiol – Through the interactive stands there is the possibility of seeing up close what the different professionals do, as well as talking to experts in the sector or people part of human resources, who can provide useful advice on orientation, available positions and how to present yourself correctly at a future job interview.”

HOMES”
Most of the Group’s maisons are in Padua. Df/TFondaco di Venezia (looking for client advisory, new face of customer service in the luxury market); Louis Vuitton Footwear Manufacturing in Fiesso d’artigianato and Rossimoda, for Céline and Givenchy, offer demonstrations on the manufacturing of their footwear within their stands; Dior in the clothing sector; Thelios, with glasses; Bulgari in silk processing, Belmond with the demonstration of work carried out in bars, restaurants, hotels and ADP (Acqua di Parma) with its perfumes.

THE REACTIONS
The kids move curiously between the work tables, where the professionals show their products, interacting directly, touching the fabrics, trying to weave laces and watching the artisans’ demonstrations. On the sides of the room, CV collection points have also been set up, to give each student the opportunity, after putting themselves out there, to apply directly for the positions available in the area. Among the various pavilions, a space has also been set up where, through virtual reality, children can immerse themselves in the universe of professions and observe them from another perspective.
«This initiative demonstrates how the San Gaetano cultural center can also open up to companies to highlight the job and professional growth opportunities that exist. We are happy – said the municipal councilor for Commerce, Antonio Bressa – to see so many young people today, who can find here, thanks to the initiative of the LVMH Group, job opportunities in the territory of our country. Through this initiative we are also able to bring together the skills and talents that our city also expresses with internationally renowned brands that can truly give these kids an opportunity.” A project capable of uniting the most important workers to help young people in learning and building their future, with the possibility of recruiting the best talents who will carry forward the excellence of the manufacturing sector.
