GROSSETO – What is the richest municipality in the Maremma? Looking at the ranking drawn up on the basis of the income released yesterday by the Ministry of Economy and Finance for 2022, it is easy to answer this question. The “richest” municipality, or rather, the one where the per capita income is highest, is in the province of Grosseto Capalpio with 26,392 euros and a growth compared to the 2021 figure of 3.78%.
In this special ranking on the income of the Maremma people, there is second place Castiglione della Pescaia with 24,263 euros and a growth compared to the previous year of almost 5 percentage points. In third place is the municipality of Grosseto. The capital has a per capita income of 22,796 euros.
At the bottom of the ranking there are: Semproniano, Sorano And Roccalbegna. In these three municipalities between the Amiata area and the tuff area, the lowest per capita incomes in the province of Grosseto are recorded.
