Returning from the Sta.fo.liss school camp, a training course for the Licei Scientifici Sportivi which took place in Ravenna, a selection of students from the second of the “Mazzatinti” Sports Scientific High School“, led by the manager Maria Marinangeliwas awarded the most important prize, that of fair play, in full respect of the fundamental values of this beautiful sporting project.
The Sta.fo.liss. in fact it presents a strong interdisciplinary character and aims, among many objectives, to foster the spirit of cooperation, the sense of responsibility, the ability to choose and educate, solidarity.
They participated in the school camp sixteen sports high schools from all over Italy. In particular, they were part of the group which featured the students of the Mazzatinti high school, the “Federico Cesi” high school of Terni, the “Cardano” high school of Milan, the “San Giuseppe” high school of Rome, the “Galilei” high school of Siena”. Oriani” of Ravenna and the “Volta” and “Spaventa” sports high schools of Pescara.
The boys tried their hand at ten different disciplines (including ultimate frisbee, sailing regatta, canoeing) winning the podium in orienteering, mixed relay and field hockey, dedicating commitment, perseverance and showing enthusiasm both for the sport and for socialization and behavior.
