“Lumatiamo returns to Busto Arsizio with the Green Summer Festival dedicated to families, young people, children and athletes”
Lumariamo is Green Summer Festival with the patronage of the City of Busto Arsizio the fifth edition of Lumatiamo returns, the format proposed by the continuous natural cycle breeding of Snails of Busto Arsizio with a festival that combines solidarity and sport, music and sustainability, this year with great partners and
collaborations.
The Green Summer Festival, which will take place from Saturday 4 May until 30 September, will offer a rich calendar of events that will involve the entire city of Busto Arsizio and its inhabitants. The festival aims to promote solidarity and the desire to spend time in the open air, through the organization of sporting and cultural activities in the name of sustainability and ecology.
The Green Summer Festival was conceived as an event that promotes a healthy lifestyle and
respectful of the environment, and this year presents itself with numerous innovations. Among the main collaborations are the third sector associations, with the important support of the Department of Social Inclusion and Health of Busto Arsizio which has reserved over ten days dedicated to the programming of the Associations’ activities for activities dedicated to children with educators or expanded awareness or fundraising activities for the general public.

The inauguration has been set for May 4th from 10.30 am with a ribbon cutting in attendance
of Authorities and Guests and the extraordinary participation of Coldiretti Varese for the Campagna Amica Market which will once again highlight the importance of the value of zero km, organic and natural farmer’s products.
Throughout the day it will be possible to test and purchase slime-based cosmetic products
snail by LumaPiù, adopt a snail in the educational laboratory context proposed by the farm, try the innovative full electric cars proposed by AutoEmotion. The return of Jerry Alotta is eagerly awaited for the little ones, the Cowboy Chef who participated in the Masterchef competition and who also in this fifth edition presents himself with his LOVEFarm where it will be possible to create routes for children riding a pony for the ” baptism of the saddle”, and there will also be the educational farm with the possibility of milking the cow, with the aim of bringing them closer to the animal and rural world. Among the events scheduled for the summer, we highlight outdoor sporting activities, such as the beach volleyball tournament, stargazing, there will also be games and
fun for children with workshops, entertainment and many surprises with the LumaCamp proposed in collaboration by La Ludosofia: the camp will be open from Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 17.00 and will be offered as half days or full days with snacks included and possibly a meal at km 0.

At the end of the course, participants will receive the nature guardian certificate.
Particular attention will be given to the gastronomic sector, thanks to a new and fundamental collaboration with Tonetti Pâtisserie, the local food and wine excellence and pastry chef, who has organized high quality street food events where it will be possible to taste platters, 0 km products supplied in collaboration with Campagna Amica and specialties deriving from the territory.
