Tomorrow 25 April in the conference room of Universo Salute there will be a conference entitled “Fountain Square. Poetry does not forget”. The initiative is organized by Readers’ Club – Presidium of the Book of Bisceglie in collaboration with Universo Salute Opera Don Uva.

They joined the demonstration the ANPI Biscegliethe local Italian Mazzini Association, Speaksi English school of Corato, Nicotel Bisceglie, Club for UNESCO Bisceglie and the Municipality of Bisceglie.

The opportunity to think about Resistence is given by the book Piazza Fontana, which will be presented by Angelo Gaccione, Giuseppe Langella, Zaccaria Gallo and the city councilor Elisabetta Mastrototaro.

The volume is made up of well 42 authors some of the greatest of the twentieth century. There are deceased poets (Pier Paolo Pasolini, Julian Beck, Giovanni Raboni, Roberto Sanesi, to name a few), and there are prominent living poets (Oldani, Fiori, Consonni, Tonon, Sthen, Guarracino, and so on) . An articulated and complex choir of voices that reaches our hearts through the poetic word. Verses that excite us, pain us, outrage us, but at the same time make us more aware of our conscience as citizens and of everyone’s duty in defense of democracy, freedom, peace, life.

Introduced by the judge Guido Salvinithe volume is enriched by the lawyer’s testimonies Federico Sinicato president of the Committee of the families of the victims of Piazza Fontana, of the provincial president of the ANPI Roberto Cenatiof one of the daughters of Giuseppe Pinelli.
