La Commune à l’école competition: Arvier primary does an encore, Gressoney-St-Jean wins for childhood.

The nursery school of Gressoney-Saint-Jean and class IV of Arvier primary school they win the 2023/2024 edition of the educational competition ‘La Commune à l’Ecole’, the project on active citizenship in schools, promoted by Celva with the Superintendent of Studies.

14 participating classes from 10 municipalities

14 classes from 10 municipalities participated in this edition of the competition.

Primary school

The children of the Gressoney-Saint-Jean nursery school

The nursery school worked on the topic ‘Once upon a time… let’s tell, with a journey into memories, stories, myths and legends that characterize our Municipality’.

Said of the first prize of the Gressoney-Saint-Jean nursery school, runners-up there school in Donnas capital And Donnas Vert and third, the nursery school of the San Giuseppe Institute of Aosta.

Primary School

Arvier does an encore in the section dedicated to the Rimaria school that worked on the topic ‘It happens today… through events, parties or anniversaries, we get to know our Municipality better’.

In fact, class IV wins; second place for Perloz primary school, who presented a project in continuity with the nursery school and third place for the Aymavilles primary school.

The awards ceremony at the Chabod Boarding School

The awards ceremony was held today in the great hall of the Convitto Chabod.

The first to be awarded were the nursery school children – while the primary school children were busy playing in the outdoor field – then the exchange between the game and the awards ceremony.

The children of Donnas capital and Donnas Vert

The winning classes were awarded vouchers for educational and gaming activities in the area: an afternoon for the third classified, half a day for the second classified and a whole day for the first.

The children received free pencils for their activities and a blue hat to commemorate their participation.

The awards ceremony for the children of the San Giuseppe Institute

Doing the honors will be the mayor of Charvensod and project coordinator for Celva Ronny Borbey who welcomed the primary school children, sitting on the floor on carpets and cushions and thanked them for their commitment, referring «to the books, drawings, videos, songs and nursery rhymes that you have prepared, beautiful works for which we must also thank the your teachers.”
