Gricignano di Aversa – Thieves of valuables reported by the Carabinieri – Dea Notizie

It is through the acquisition of the images recorded by the closed circuit cameras, installed at a jewelery shop in Carinaro, in the Caserta area, that the Carabinieri of the Gricignano di Aversa station were able to identify the perpetrators and create a photographic file through which the victim recognized the thieves.
It was March 16th when the two women entered the shop pretending to be interested in purchasing jewellery. After having made sure that the jeweler placed numerous objects on the counter, one of the two, with particular skill, distracted the seller while her accomplice with a lightning move took possession of some jewels and, in particular, pendants in yellow and white gold, to a value of approximately 800 euros.
Only after the fake buyers had left the shop, obviously without purchasing anything, did the owner notice the shortages and alert the Carabinieri.
The thieves, a 51-year-old and a 28-year-old from the province of Salerno, linked by kinship, were identified and reported in a state of freedom by the Carabinieri of the Gricignano d’Aversa station.
