The Lega Serie A Primavera 1 has issued a statement announcing Lecce’s forfeit victory against Sampdoria: the reason

There Lega Serie A Primavera 1 issued a statement in which he announced the forfeit victory of Lecce in the match of the 30th day against the Sampdoria, played yesterday, Monday 22 April, and ended 1-0 for the Giallorossi. From what emerges, the Blucerchiati have violated the legislation which requires the use of six non-quota players for the last five rounds of the championship, fielding seven players born in 2004. However, the episode did not affect the ranking of the Blucerchiati Matteo Pastorino in fact they left Pietro Lama with a defeat. Here is the press release.

OFFICIAL RELEASES – «The Sports Judge, having examined the official documents, noted that the Sampdoria club, in the match in question, fielded seven players born in 2004 on the pitch at the start of the match, namely the players: Tantocchi Elia, Uberti Nicolò, Pozzato Simone, Conti Francesco, Lotjonen Arttu Mikael, Alesi Gabriele and Polli Luca; considering that the regulations of the Primavera 1 TIM Championship valid for the 2023/2024 sports season, published with CU n. 20 of 11 August 2023 in point 8 establishes: “the following can participate in the Event, whatever the type of membership: – footballers who are 15 years of age and who were born from 1 January 2005 onwards; – a maximum number of six players born from 1 January 2004 (and up to 31 December 2004), who can be used simultaneously in each match; – only one “over quota” player (without age limit), in addition to the six referred to in the previous paragraph, for the regular season phase only (with express exclusion of the last five matchdays)”; considering that the art. 10, paragraph 1 CGS establishes that the Company held responsible for facts or situations which have influenced the regular running of a match or which have prevented its regular carrying out, is punished with the loss of the match itself with a score of 0-3 (or with the score possibly achieved on the field by the opposing team, if more favorable to the latter); that the same art. 10, paragraph 6 letter. a), also provides that the sanction of loss of the match is imposed, for the proceedings before the Sports Judge referred to in art. 65, paragraph 1, letter. d) (as well as those referred to in art. 67), if the club allows players who are disqualified or who in any case are not entitled to take part to participate in the match; therefore considered that, for the above reasons, the Sampdoria club has violated the regulatory provision mentioned above and is therefore liable to the sanctions referred to in the art. 10, paragraphs 1 and 6 letter. to)”.
