The General Assembly of the General Assemblies of the CGIL of Barletta – Andria – Trani, i.e. the rallying call, has been convened for today, Tuesday 23 April, starting from 3.00 pm, at the Ottagono Hotel in Andria, in via Barletta. of all categories of workers and union workers and pensioners.
The themes at the center of the discussion will be those of the “La via maestra” manifesto which is the great mobilization of the union through numerous initiatives to defend the Constitution and its cornerstones: work, equal rights, wages, healthcare. We will also talk about contracts, taxes and pensions, more generally about the welfare state but not only that, maximum attention will be paid to upcoming initiatives such as the referendum campaign which will see the union at the forefront in the coming weeks: “For work I put my signature”: four questions for the benefit of all citizens and which essentially concern illegitimate dismissals, precariousness, fixed-term contracts and procurement.
“These are four proposals to dismantle some of the laws that are leading to the wild world of work we are experiencing, full of precariousness, unbalanced in favor of businesses and unprotected. We will also be committed to this challenge with the aim of changing the rules that have made workers increasingly less protected and employment increasingly poorer. We are thus in the field to put work back at the centre, not as long as it is quality work, welfare and the needs of the families of our territory”, comments the general secretary of the CGIL Bat, Michele Valente.
The secretary of CGIL Puglia will participate in the general assembly of the Bat, Dino Testini.
