ON MOTORCYCLES FOR A CAUSE, SIDE BY SIDE ALL OVER THE WORLD

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride brings together classic and vintage style riders from around the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia by Mark Hawwa. It was inspired by a photo of Mad Men star Don Draper riding a classic motorbike wearing his best suit. Mark decided that a themed motorcycle ride would be a great way to combat the often negative stereotype of motorcyclists and, at the same time, connect unique motorcycle communities. Movember has been the official charity partner of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride since 2016. Both organizations share a simple goal: to bring people together and change the face of men’s health. Funds raised by The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride help fuel Movember’s work on two of the most complex issues facing men around the world. Since partnering with Movember in 2016, more than A$45 million has been invested in cutting-edge research into tests and treatments for prostate cancer, initiatives that improve the quality of life of men living with the disease, and innovative projects for men’s mental health.
