TERAMO – The request for financing to build a solid future has become an imperative for many sports clubs, including the Lions Teramo Pallamano. After a difficult season full of sacrifices, President Franco Chionchio he turned to entrepreneurs and institutions so that they can contribute to the growth and consolidation of the team.
During the last match of the men’s silver handball championship in San Giorgio Molteno, Lions Teramo had to deal with a defeat which resulted in their relegation to Serie A Bronze. Despite the negative result, the President praised the commitment and dedication of all the players, who gave their all on the pitch despite their study and work commitments.
Special thanks were addressed to the technical staff, made up of industry professionals such as Swietlana CzerneckaSeptimius MassottiSerafino The Brecciosa who worked hard to carry out the Lions Teramo project. In particular, coach Franco By Giacinto he was also recognized for his commitment in the economic-financial sector, continually seeking support from entrepreneurs and sponsors which allowed him to move forward with dignity.
President Chionchio highlighted the disappointment for those who promised aid and support and then did not keep their promises. Despite the difficulties, the club participated in several tournaments in addition to the Serie A Silver, Serie B and the Under 15 and 13 youth championships, demonstrating its commitment and determination to achieve its goals.
Now, more than ever, the company needs financial support to continue to grow and compete at its best. President Chionchio underlined the importance of politics and entrepreneurship in supporting the handball project and expressed the hope of being able to count on the contribution of local institutions and private individuals to avoid having to abandon Teramo in search of more resources.
