While the hunger strike that Gianni Fabbris, Adriano Noviello and Sebastiano Lombardo are holding in Rome in front of the entrance to the Ministry of Health reaches its sixth day, the breeders in the territories involved (CampaniaSicily, Calabria and Puglia) are mobilizing.
This morning at 1.30 pm a delegation of breeders made up of Salvatore Foglia of the Association for the Protection of Bufala Mediterranea Breeding and Pasquale D’Agostino, territorial president of Altragricoltura Nord Campania, together with the lawyer Francesco Di Tella (responsible for the Farmer’s Relief of North Campania) were received from the Head of Cabinet of the Prefecture of Caserta, Florinda Bevilacquato whom they delivered the letters with the requests sent in recent days to Ministers Schillaci and Lollobrigida.
An act which had the objective, once again, of reminding the institutions of the need to proceed quickly with the implementation of what politics has long ensured: the appointment of the National Commissioner for Brc and TB. The delegation underlined that the three on hunger strike do not intend to interrupt it until a delegation from the movement is received by the two ministers to obtain assurances on the ongoing initiatives and the appointment of the commissioner is completed. The farmers of Caserta have announced that, if the answers do not arrive, further mobilization initiatives will be taken including new demonstrations in the territories.
