Padua. Elderly woman attacked at home by her five large dogs: she loses both arms

PADUA – Attacked at home by her five large dogs, serious injuries for an 83 year old of Padua. During the afternoon, the Carabinieri of the Padua Company intervened at a house in Mortise, where an 83-year-old, for reasons still under investigation, had been attacked within the home by her five large dogs. The soldiers on site, after having reached the inside of the apartment on the first floor of the building and removed the animals, rescued the woman who was unconscious on the ground.

She was transported to the Padua hospital by 118 personnel following the serious injuries she suffered amputation of the entire right upper limb and left forearm. The woman was hospitalized with a reserved prognosis with no life-threatening danger
