Satalino 5.5 He doesn’t trust Marras’s cross shot and shoots for a corner, blocking the attempts from Meroni and Zuccon in the second half. He isn’t particularly to blame for the four goals, but he no longer gives the feeling of being able to make the decisive save as happened in his first appearances…

Sampirisi sv In the first 10′ he hits a good cross for the opportunity wasted by Pieragnolo and even manages to shoot after a rebound, then raises the white flag as soon as he feels his left rectus femoris muscle being pulled. Let’s hope his season doesn’t end here… (from 14’pt Romagna 5: he finds himself back on the field after more than three months – his last appearance on January 13th in Pisa – and takes up his position as right-hand man alongside Rozzio. Being late for Tutino’s winning shot before the break, he is remembered more than anything for the few crosses he put into the opponent’s area without creating any danger).

Rozzio 5 More hesitant than previous releases, a sign that there is something wrong behind it. In the first half he was preceded by a header from Meroni who fortunately was unable to direct the ball into the target. Nesta sacrifices him 10′ from time to insert the last attacker (from 32’st Varela 5: after four games spent between the stands and the bench he has a new chance but up front he is as evanescent as the rest of the team. He guiltily lets Forte get ahead of him on the occasion of the rossoblù’s 3-0).

Marcandalli 5 Recovered at the last minute after the bad blow in Lecco, he started a physical duel with Tutino which did not always see him emerge victorious. In his area, Cosenza often sinks, in the 90th minute he intervenes with a slide on Forte’s shot, modifying the trajectory which ends behind Satalino.

Fiamozzi 4.5 After just 6 minutes he was clearly anticipated by D’Orazio (he practically didn’t jump) who effectively decided the match with his first goal of the season. He tries to redeem himself with an offensive projection but no dangerous crosses are remembered and the only shot he produces ends up between a forest of legs in the small area.

Cigarines 5.5 In his fourth outing as a starter in just 20 days, at the age of 37, he does what he can and somehow also manages to inspire the only noteworthy actions (it was his launch from which Okwonkwo’s shot was born in the second half). But it is above all those around him who do not help him. His conclusion from a free kick under the Curva Sud was deflected by the rossoblù barrier into a corner. He brings home his eighth yellow card of the season for protesting, the only one from the Granata brand in the entire match.

Kabashi 5 Having served his month-long post-Spezia penance, he has the very difficult task of not making Bianco’s absence weigh on him: he doesn’t succeed. The Albanian midfielder lacks speed in executing the action and from his wrong header Mazzocchi collects the ball and turns on Tutino for the 2-0. Too many throws into space, even the shot on goal is to be forgotten.

Pieragnolo 5 Tutino immediately makes fun of him by drawing the cross for D’Orazio’s 1-0. Two minutes later he would have the chance to rebalance the match but he heads the good ball put in by Sampirisi wide. He proves to be one of the liveliest of the eleven Granata players on the pitch, but it’s not enough. In the second half, being warned, he was probably “preserved” in view of Palermo (from the 16th Pajac 5: the left foot is polite, but you can only understand it halfway through the second half when he takes a run-up and finds a deflection off the barrier from a free kick. With time now up he doesn’t follow Forte’s cut who has all the space to finish on net and score the poker).

Antiste 5 Who has seen? He should play in support of Okwonkwo and the midfield but remains out of the game for 45 minutes, a bit like all of Reggiana (from 1st Gondo 5.5: he goes to lend a hand to an attack at the mercy of the waves and he also manages to do something good, but we are talking about a chest support for Okwonkwo’s shot and a not too angled right rejected by Micai after having recovered a dirty ball on the edge of the area).

Melegoni 5 He addresses the ball firsthand, and this is nothing new, but in practice it produces nothing interesting other than winning a free kick from the edge of the area which is subsequently taken by Cigarini. Lots of boos when leaving the pitch (from the 16th minute Portanova 5.5: as in Venice he enters with his opponents ahead but this time he fails to inspire the Granada comeback. But he struggles, produces some tears and essentially keeps the Calabrian rearguard a little more apprehensive).

Okwonkwo 4.5 Debut as a starter definitely to forget for the former Cittadella. He moves forward a lot but it’s of no use because he’s always alone against everyone. The awkward stop with the ball dragged beyond the sideline is emblematic. After Gondo’s entry the situation improves slightly, but he kicks the good serve with the chest of his Ivorian teammate to the side. Causes the (useless) foul which gives rise to the 3-0 shark Strong.

Mister Nesta 4 He takes all the boos from the “Città del Tricolore” and goes with the team to the Distinti and Curva Sud to apologize. He also responds after the match outside the stadium. In the press room he tries to give himself some explanation for the third stop in a row – «The same ones are still pulling the cart, we need to rediscover the energy and the right spirit…» – but the substance does not change: Reggiana is experiencing the worst moment of its season, as the Roman coach is experiencing it, and there doesn’t seem to be a ready solution around the corner. Many important players are missing, he must be given credit for this, but what he is also unconvincing about is his management of rotations and additions during the match in progress to try to recover the result. Tactically nothing new, but we doubt that with four days to go there will be a turning point from this point of view. Now more than ever, Reggiana has understood that it cannot live off the good things it has achieved previously: it is up to the coach and the Granata players to make the last push to cross the finish line. In which way? They can only find the answer in protagonists on the field…
