There is also a bit of Cuneo in the facades of the Dior boutiques – La Guida

The works of the artist Joana Vasconcelos, defined by the Times as one of the five most influential women of 2023, decorate the facades of Dior boutiques around the world in a giant and inflatable version, thanks to the collaboration with the Cuneo company Fly-In.

An exciting project was proposed to the Fly-In company (based in Bene Vagienna) which brought its CEO, Mauro Oggero, to Lisbon, to the artist’s atelier where he had the privilege of immersing himself in his world creative and admire his extraordinary work up close: the simple inflatable structures are embellished with fabrics of all types and colours, embroidery, sequins, pom poms and lights, giving life to unique and extravagant works.

“The challenge was great – explains Oggero -: to faithfully replicate every detail of his works, from the fringes to the waves, from the lights to the sequins, using only materials suitable to resist the elements and comply with rigid bureaucratic regulations. Thanks to the printed effect and the meticulously inserted illuminations, our blow-ups have captured the essence and beauty of Vasconcelos’ original creations, adding a touch of magic to the streets of Milan, Paris, London and New York.

It was a unique experience – concludes Oggero -, Vasconcelos is an artist who involves you and transmits his genius to you with simplicity and empathy, stimulating your creativity to dare to create new works with fantastic results. And this is just the beginning of our artistic adventure together. We are ready to continue creating extraordinary new works that combine the beauty of art with the innovation and quality of our inflatables.”
