The play-off semi-final of the Apulian Excellence championship between Bisceglie And Molfetta, originally scheduled for April 21 at 4:30 p.m., has been postponed. The new date set for the meeting is April 28th. This choice was made to allow both fans to participate in one of the most significant events of the two teams’ football season.
Molfetta enthusiastically welcomed the postponement decision, expressing its comment on social media: “Now let’s go and win it on the pitch”. This shows the determination and confidence of the team to achieve success in the challenge, demonstrating that the competition will be fought with even greater intensity and determination.
Molfetta’s statement:
“Molfetta wins, the Molfetta Calcio club wins, sport wins!!!
Thanks in fact to the great commitment of the President Dr. Saverio Bufi and General Director Gianni Tuosto, the play-off semi-final will be played with the presence of both sets of fans.
The match which should have been played tomorrow 21 April at 4.30pm, has been postponed to Sunday 28 April but with the personal promise of the Police Commissioner of Andria to President Bufi, that on that date, the Molfetta fans will be given the opportunity to be able to watch live the match most loved by the red and white fans.
An extraordinary objective has therefore been achieved for the Molfetta Calcio club, which during the week had worked hard to ensure that this historic result was achieved. In fact, the many travel bans imposed on the two rival fans in recent years are well known.
A positive outcome for President Bufi and for the entire Molfetta Calcio club, which is recognized by the institutions for its great reliability and ability in organizing sporting events. Naturally, special thanks go to the Police Commissioner of Andria and the Mayors of Bisceglie and Molfetta, for their efforts to ensure that the match can be played, with a crowd worthy of this event.
Now after the Molfetta Calcio club has ensured that both Molfetta and Bisceglie fans can attend the match, let’s go and win it on the pitch. Go Molfetta!”
