Ravenna, 20 April 2024 – Fire at first light at Bbk of Punta Marina. Around 4.30 am, the flames ignited in the bathing establishment in Viale delle Nazioni 345. The alarm was raised by a woman. The firefighters rushed to the scene with multiple vehicles (tank trucks plus two teams) and the Carabinieri from the Radiomobile unit of Ravenna.
They went to the fire tables and a cold room destroyed and a structure where equipment was located. Destroyed from the flames the external kiosk used as a gazebo bar.
The main part of the room was not affected by the fire thanks to the timely intervention of the firefighters who then cleared the area. The firefighters’ intervention ended at 7.30. The fire, which broke out on the opening day of the restaurant, it could be malicious. The origin of the flames is under investigation.
Meanwhile, restoration work began immediately in the factory and the announcement of the opening appeared on the ‘Bbk Pleasure Beach’ Facebook page, with inauguration of the Bbk Summer 2024 beach tomorrow, Sunday 21 April. “We will be open from 9am to dusk!! – we read in the post – Breakfast, lunch, aperitif!! Yep, we’re still here!!”.
