Abruzzo is the protagonist of Avanti un Altro, the Canale 5 program hosted by Paolo Bonolis and Luca Laurenti.
The maestro Luca Laurenti, in the guise of the Luketta doll “queen of the kebabs”, asked the competitor Alessandro da Rivoli (TO) a series of questions focused precisely on the Abruzzo culinary specialty.
The competitor makes a bold statement to the first question, stating that the towns of Voltigno, the birthplace of kebabs, are in Abruzzo but in the province of Ascoli Piceno. Alessandro, however, recovers and answers the next 3 questions well, thus managing to fish out the lice. To the second question, Laurenti states that “arrosticini, being very good, can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, dinner and during a nocturnal hunger attack. Just think that the Marsican children at school eat them hot at recess“.
