PORDENONE – The “pebble” has been removed from the shoe that stung the 23-year-old’s step. The man, arrested by State Police officers, had hidden doses of cocaine inside the shoes stored in the wardrobe.

The operation began on the afternoon of Thursday 18 April, after noticing an unusual coming and going of people, known drug users, from an apartment in the Pordenone area, home of the 23-year-old, an Italian citizen of Moroccan origins, where his wife and son also live two months. Having informed the prosecutor on duty, the search immediately gave a positive result, leading to the discovery of the doses of drugs inside the shoes in the shoe rack in the bedroom. Inside a wrapper with 135 grams of cocaine. Furthermore, a few grams of marijuana, 2 scales and various packaging materials were found in the house. In consideration of the large quantity of narcotic substance found, the young man was arrested in the act of committing a crime and transferred to the Pordenone prison at the disposal of the Judicial Authority. The seized drugs would have brought in over 15,000 euros in profit on the market.
